BunakenTEC is a dedicated division of Two Fish Divers catering to technical diving for both open Circuit and rebreather divers. Not only do we teach all the technical diving courses, but we also offer specialized TEC diving exploration and Coelacanth expeditions!

BunakenTEC is based at Two Fish Divers, a PADI 5 Star Resort on Bunaken Island near the city of Manado in North Sulawesi, Indonesia. The resort offers 3 types of accommodation preferences but generally it is a small resort that caters to not more than about 25 divers at a time. Dive boats don’t take more than 8-12 recreational divers, with guides taking groups of 2-4 people at a time.

For technical divers we pretty much have our own personal dive boat wether it’s one TEC diver or four. So you can stay down as long as you want to without worrying about schedules or dive times of other divers. The best thing about the area is the easy access to diving – no long boat rides, 600m+ drop offs right in front of the resort, furthest dive sites are about 20-25 min out by boat, but most are within 10-15min out…PERFECT!

TEC Courses – as a PADI TECREC Center, we provide the full range of PADI open circuit TECH, Trimix and Instructor courses. We also have our own Poseiden MK6 Rebreather, and provide RAID recreational rebreather courses.

Getting there and away

Manado is located in North Sulawesi and is easily reached as it has an international airport. Direct flights are available from Singapore with Silk Air several times a week. Flights are also available to Manado from Bali, Jakarta and Makassar. Diving is based from Bunaken Island just 40min boat trip from the main Manado port. From Bunaken Island the location of the dive sites is just minutes away.
